Distressed swap - Wall plaques

These are two wall plaques were made for the distressed items swap on lotstodo forum.
I used mount board for the backing which I covered with caligraphy paper. I aged the edges using distress inks.
For the top picture I stamped onto stamp board, using the same the same inks to edge them. I used extra thick embossing powder to give them a glazed look.
I used the same technique for the other plaquge, but stamped on to altered dominos. I have highlighted the faces of the stamps with crackle glaze. Just ned to think of a third item now???

Four seasons swap - winter

This is for the 4 seasons swap that I am hosting on Lotstodo. There are 3 swaps in total, an ATC, a fatPage and a Tag swap.
We have to make four of each, one for each season, this is my collection for the Winter swaps.

Four seasons swap - Summer

Four seasons swap - Spring

4 seasons swap - Autumn

Autumn Colours swap

These 9 2" squares were made for a swap on Lotstodo.
I used mount board which I sprayed with memory mist for the background. I then added copper, gold and bronze moon shadow mists to give them an Autumn feel. I used a selection of stamps for the embelishments using versa mark and copper kettle embossing powder.

This is the tag book I made for the pictures I have taken of Tyra. I had so many of them and wanted to take a selection of photos with me to work to show off. I decoarated each tag individually and used the BIA to keep them together. They are now all together in a handbag size format, sorted!

Book covers and a page for Hilda

Right at the top is a fat page I made for Hilda, it is from the general list 6 swap on CSF. I spritzed the background with Glimmer mists, used a TH style stamp with black Stazon for the sentiment. I used black stazon for the bachground stamp too.
Below the page are the book covers I have made for Hilda, the top set of covers are for her general pages and the bottom set is an extra set I made for her Tim Holtz collection of pages.

I made these fat pages and ATC's for a swap hosted by Andrea on Lots to do forum.

Egyptian fat book covers

These are the covers I have made for Hilda's Egyptian themed fat book pages

Lots to do Big Tag swap

I made these tags for the Lots to do forum swap.
I used Moon Shadow mists for the back ground and then randomly stamped sentiments onto the background. To embelish them, i made a matching smaller tag, agian using the moon mists for the background. I stamped a sentiment onto each of them and then cover the sentiment with crackle glaze. The photo has not come out to well, they look so much better in the flesh.

For Amilia Mae

I made this card for my friend to give to her granddaughter. It's her first birthday just before christamas (I need to make her christmas card too!) I tried to think about the things I would wish my own grandchild and with the help of the caligraphy stamps, I think i have achieved what I set out to do. I hope my friend likes it.

Many thanks Andrea

Andrea made this lovely stamped concertina booklet for me, along with atc's and a tag. She has also made a beautiful altered domino keyring which is far to nice to be thrown into my bag with a bunch of old keys attached, so it will have pride of place attached to my crafty scrap book. Thank you Andrea, you are a good friend.

Thank you Alison

This Exploding book was a gift from Alison, the colours are delightful and the oriental images give it such an elegant look, I am really chuffed with it, thank you!
You can just see the 'stress' tag poking out from behind, Alison was kind enough to make me this so that i can have it hanging on my computer at work!

To Sam and from Sam

A gift for Sam A gift from Sam
I made this 'Frazzie' brag book for sam to keep her favorite piccy's of Fraser in, I have added a few photos, from the one's that Sam downloaded, but have left plenty of room for her to add more.
Sam made me a delightful tags book with 4 gorgeous tags to fit into it, along with a fat page, both of which I will treasure.

Poppy appeal

Lest we forget.
As a mark of repect, the LOTS TO DO craft forum will hold a 2 minute silence at 11am on the 11th Novemeber. Forum members have been invited to create a piece of art work, using their representation of 'poppies' to display on the forum, the items will be auctioned off at a later date to raise money for the poppy appeal.

For Angie and Alison I have made an ATC box, it should hold about 20 ATC's as long as they are too fat! I have also made them several ATC's to put inside.

A gift for Becky

For Becky, I have decorated a photo book for her, and of course added a few photos of the family to it (well she is my 'lil sis).

On the front I added an altered domino, only my second attempt! but was quite chuffed witht he results!

A gift for Ang

For Ang, I have made a papertole picture

of a fireman. The Idea came when she mentioned having to call the firebrigade out to her school, she also mentioned that she likes a man in uniform!

A gift for Mags

The gift I have choosen to make for mags, is a brag book for her new baby due in January. As we are not supposed to let on that we know the sex of the baby, i have choosen nutral colours, but they do tend to lean towards the pinkish colours!
Each page has been decorated, all they need now are the photo's!
It is large enough to hold some lovely photos, but small enough to tuck into a handbag, so that Mags can take it with her to show off her latest addition to her friends.

On 10th November I am going to the craft show at the NEC in Birmingham.

I will be meeting up with friends form the LOTS TO DO and ALL THINGS CRAFTY forums. Some I have met before, others I will be meeting for the first time.

We all have one thing in common, and thats crafting.

I have made a little gift for them all, take a look..............

This is 3D picture for Andrea, I have used a technique called papertole to achieve this, and cut mount board to frame the finished picture.
