Inspiration Cards

These are two inspiration cards , one for Hilda (top) and the other for Ang.
They are on 4" x 6" card. For Hilda's I used strips of ripped co-ordinating papers in nutral colours, including a piece of Leo DV background paper. The edges of each were inked to aged them. Using a very muted colour ink I stamped an image of Leo's Cosmos on to a piece of matching paper and mounted on white handmade paper, tied taffetta around it and mounted onto the card. To finish I used individual letter stamps to spell out COSMOS.
For Ang's I started with a piece of glossy card and dabbed alcohol inks onto it. Using the same colour inks I put a striped effect onto another piece of card and then stamped onto it twice, using stazon ink. One image I mounted onto white card and the other image I cut away both sides, leaving just the centre piece. I folded the cut image down the centre and placed, using silicon over the other image to give a raised effect with out it being 3D'd. I added tiny tags to the bottom of the card using brass brads that I coloured with permanent ink. To finish I stamped the whole image again onto shrink plastic, cut out the individual sections and heated until they shrank, I then attached them with a few jump rings to the corner.

WOW how lucky am I?

How lucky am I to have such wonderfully talented and generous friends!
The gorgeous little photo book was given to me by Lesleyanne, I have yet to choose the photos to put inside, but I have so many choices.
The delightful little plaque was made for me by Chris, I just love the colours and the image, they go so well together.
The ingenious little Buddie was a gift from Sam, he is such a cutie, I love him to bits.
The 'believe' keyring was a wonderful suprise gift from Jo, I love the stamp and the colours and it will be put onto my craft display board along with all my other gifts.
Thank you so much, you are truelly wonderful people and I am blessed to have you as friends.

Lots todo distressed stamp swap

For these ATC's I started with blank white card, distressing the edges with inks and then spraying with glimmer mist. Once dried, I stamped different images on to the cards with black stazon. I also stamped the same images onto shrink plastic.
To highlight the faces I used crackle glaze. before shrinking the other images I stained the reverse side with alcohol inks to give the clear plastic an aged look. (I also remembered this time to punch a hole in the top before shrinking!)
I attached the shrunk images using legal brief brads which I coloured with ink.

Lots to do 3 2 1 distressed swap

These are for Sam's swap.
3 fat pages, 2 tags and 1 ATC with the theme distressed.
These were fun to do, I love the distressed look.

Lots to do Valentine swap

This is for a valentine swap with a difference.
we have to make 3 ATC's but not use red or hearts. I thought it would be easy, but hey, it was a bit of a challenge.
So made three the same.

Crafty Bitz Wall Hanging

I needed to find a way to keep all my wonderful crafty gifts together and on display, rather than have them in boxes and drawers where no one could see them.
I decided to make a wall hanging so that i could display the wonderful gifts that I had been given by my forum friends.
Some of the gifts were given to me when we all met at the NEC last November, other items were gifts sent to me for Christmas.
This is not all that i have received, but a selection from everyone (I decided not to put christmas themed items on here, as I think I will do a seperate one for them. There is room for a few more pieces, but I hope all my friends will recognise the pieces that they have made. There are items from Hilda, Ang, Angie, Alison, Mags, Lauren, Jo, Ann, Andrea, Sam and Claire (I hope i haven't forgotten anyone else!)
